153 Entertainment Group is an up-and-coming record label with an exciting roster of new artists and talent. We are quickly growing and are looking for experienced, passionate, and motivated individuals to join our team.
153 Entertainment Group is seeking a Director of A&R to fortify its in-house production & writing roster by bringing in new talent to the team. The successful Director of A&R will assist in managing and building this in-house production team to work closely with our company's creative team and supply great music to our label's artists and publishing clients.
Primary Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage the growth and development of 153 Entertainment Group's in-house production team.
• Develop a comprehensive plan to organize and capitalize on our extensive song catalog.
• Assist in providing A&R direction and supervision on assigned projects for label and publishing purposes.
• Work closely with executive producer and other team members to develop strategies for creating hit songs.
• Act as the primary point person for other A&R personnel, as well as for 153's writers.
• Facilitate the administrative process for potential deals & business proposals.
• Seek opportunities for creative and collaborative projects on behalf of our writers and artists.
• Scout, identify, and help to develop new and signed talent in our company.
Experience and Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an A&R.
• Must have complete understanding of the digital music market, as well as all relevant digital platforms.
• Knowledgeable in music trends and the movement of the music market as a whole.
• Must have extensive network within music industry (producers & songwriters, managers, labels, etc.)
• Capable of overseeing the successful completion of multiple projects at once.
• Excellent communication skills.
