Job Summary:
The Vice President, Creative Americas will be responsible for creative strategy, planning, design and production of all Art, Graphic Design, Branding, Packaging, Production and Operations of all Creative assets distributed via Style Guides to drive the Americas licensing and owned and operated business spanning all TWDC brands, including Marvel and National Geographic. Lead the Licensed and Vertical design teams in US and LATAM (Americas). Lead all Americas and Global Marketing Creative
Responsibilities:
• Leadership - Lead, inspire, mentor, and grow a team of 80 designers across the Americas – US and LATAM, recruiting and training world class talent spanning the licensed and owned and operated business. Evaluate, challenge and coach all aspects of the Creative team's professional development creating succession planning and career paths for the team. Champion training and development of regional team members with a lens towards emerging skillsets. Partner closely with other regional leaders to liaise on creative development eliminating duplication of efforts and ensure Creative has a consistent quality level spanning all TWDC brands.
• Strategy / Planning – Work with commercial and brand leaders spanning all brands to strategize and plan annual / seasonal guides to drive the licensing business. Primary interface with Owned and Operated Brand Merchants, Product Development and Commercial owners to plan quarterly creative development for the Parks and Disney Stores businesses. Work with Americas Commercial Retail teams to plan and manage all key account for Americas retail.
• Creative Vision – Provide creative direction and oversee the development of brand right and audience right story-driven creative to drive the Americas Licensing business and feed into the global portfolio of Style Guides for global licensing – Product, Packaging & Retail. Provide creative direction and lead all creative development for Americas Owned and Operated Creative + 150 O&O Guides per year.
• Studio & Content Owner Liaison - Work with executive creative partners in Walt Disney Animation, Pixar Studios, Lucasfilm, Lightstorm, Disney Channels and Disney+. Film makers, Studio franchise and studio marketing Including Marvel Studios. Liaison with DTCR leads in development of O&O creative – Product and Packaging Creative.
• Packaging - Lead the development of Licensed and Owned and Operated packaging Style Guides for Americas.
• Production - Lead the production team managing the development of style guides for Americas – Licensed, Owned and Operated and Marvel
• Marketing - Develop innovative large scale creative campaigns spanning the portfolio of TWDC brands.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Minimum 15+ years of progressive and innovative leadership experience
• Proven global leadership experience and ability to lead large, diverse, multicultural teams
• Experience managing a global team with direct reports, stakeholders and partners in other countries
• Experience creating and developing creative campaigns for large brands
• Experience operating in regions with complex country structures
• The ability to being fresh 'innovative' out-of-the-box business driving ideas to the table
• Excellent presentation skills
• Exceptional eye for detail, sensitivity to the guest experience and passion for the portfolios of TWDC brands
• Equipped with strong project management, operational and analytic skills
• Must possess high level of enthusiasm and be an inspirational advocate for creative excellence
• Demonstrated ability to lead in a collaborative style as well as communicate in an engaging, impactful and inclusive manner.

Required Education
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Design
The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $252,000 to $337.900 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographical region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
