PMK• BNC is always looking for great talent to add to our team. We are looking for self-starters with the ability to multi- task several moving parts and prioritize multiple running projects. Our ideal candidate will have excellent writing skills, a strong attention to detail, and be a great team player.
Primary Responsibilities For Assistants:
• Maintaining and coordinating busy schedules for Publicists and clients
• Answering Publicists' phones, rolling calls, taking messages
• Providing administrative support including setting up conference calls, meetings, taking notes and other tasks as needed
• Managing the Publicists' calendars
• Booking travel arrangements and creating detailed travel itineraries (air, hotel & ground transportation) for clients and publicists
• Monitoring press clippings for clients, track media impressions and ad values, and creating/maintaining coverage reports and grids
• Collaborate with the film team in selecting promotional clip suggestions and brainstorming pitch angles
• Handling incoming press requests and some pitching of stories to media outlets
• Ongoing maintenance and updating media lists
• Reviewing and editing press materials including press releases and alerts
• Ensuring press kits are current
• Responsive and informative client/industry interaction via phone and e-mail
• Covering client events, photo shoots, press junkets, and all publicity related activities
• Staffing red carpet events including award shows, premieres, venue openings and galas
Required Experience and Skills for Assistants:
• 1 year of experience working full-time in entertainment or an agency setting preferred
• Bachelor's Degree required
• Experience working with talent, production companies, or is strongly preferred
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Proficient in Muck Rack, Cision, and other entertainment research based programs
• Professional, yet friendly people skills
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Responsive and professional written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to anticipate needs and be resourceful
• Punctuality and reliability
Primary Responsibilities for Account Coordinators:
• Monitor for print, online, broadcast and social media coverage for client brand accounts
• Maintain supply of client-related materials and documents
• Regularly develop and maintain media contact lists and databases
• Coordination and preparation for internal and external meetings
• Draft briefing documents as needed by team and client
• Pitch/interact with media as deemed necessary by account team leader
• Prepare clip reports and summaries as needed by team and client
• Read daily, weekly, monthly and online publications to identify client-relevant media coverage, including competitive market and industry information
• Contribute to client brainstorms with creative ideas
Required Experience and Skills for Account Coordinators:
• Bachelor's Degree
• 1 year experience at a PR agency preferred
• Administrative support experience in a fast moving corporate or agency setting preferred
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; PowerPoint and Outlook
• Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills are a must
• Sincere interest in the evolving media landscape and emerging marketing techniques and platforms
