Job Purpose
Mills Entertainment is looking for a detail-oriented Tour/Company Manager with a track record of forming and maintaining successful relationships, experience with a range of clients and creatives, and a passion for live entertainment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Company Management
Collaborate on property strategy and tour planning including, but not limited to, routing, staffing, budgeting, and general planning.
Collaborate with Producers on budgets for personnel and logistics.
Manage the logistics planning and execution of engagements and tours, ensuring that each project meets its financial and relationships objectives.
Manage tour and engagement budgets and logistics planning with touring personnel.
Manage, plan, and coordinate logistics and travel for assigned tours or engagements, including the creation of tour books and itineraries.
Lead recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training of touring personnel.
Supervise Mills Entertainment's touring employees, independent contractors, and vendors.
Manage touring personnel and logistics, including the day-to-day operational needs for individual touring units.
Maintain and execute all other touring independent contractor and vendor agreements.
Collaborate in procuring insurance policies and related procedures.
Review organizational trends and compliance to ensure that Mills Entertainment is up to date with state and federal requirements, along with industry trends.
Tour Management
Responsible for the overall touring logistics and planning of assigned tours, including the creation and planning of itineraries in accordance with budget standards.
Advance, coordination and execution of tour elements and logistics for assigned tours and individual engagements.
Work with the artist's team to ensure the needs of the artist are met by the venue, promoter, and road team.
Settle engagement finances on site when required and manage engagement reporting and documentation.
Be an ambassador for the company, building relationships and seeking new opportunities with venues and partners.
Ability to travel up to 120 days a year.
Required Qualifications
5+ years' experience with Production Coordination, Tour Management and/or Company Management. At least three years' experience in management roles in the live entertainment industry, particularly active touring.
Demonstrated ability to be solution-oriented with excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships with our strategic partners.
Ability to collaborate with a team, navigating different communication styles, maintaining composure and a high level of customer service.
Organized and able to manage multiple priorities applying project management work methods while working autonomously in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
High emotional intelligence with excellent communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Valid driver's license and ability to tour internationally.
This position requires extensive travel; applicants should be prepared to travel up to 120 days per year.
Preferred:
A Bachelors' degree in a related field preferred. Extended experience and combination of education may substitute for a degree.
Higher consideration will be given to candidates with several years of touring experience specifically with celebrity clients.
Mills Entertainment offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. Compensation for this position is commensurate with experience and ranges from $62,000 to $82,000 annually plus benefits.
