Details: Summary

We are currently seeking a Mid-Level Copywriter with 3-5yrs general market advertising experience. The copywriter will work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment and must possess a strong ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks under pressure.
The copywriter will work alongside Creative Directors and Producers within the Entertainment Marketing Department to conceive, develop and produce bold, strategic and effective advertising campaigns. This includes treatments, copy and creative concepts for On-Air, Print, and Digital.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as proficient computer skills & working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Copywriters often handle several client accounts at the same time, making the job varied and interesting. Typical work activities may include:
• Developing creative ideas and concepts, often in partnership with the CDs and Producers;
• Presenting ideas to colleagues and clients;
• Liaising with clients and interpreting their briefs;
• Familiarizing themselves with their clients’ products and services, the target audience and their competitors’ activities;
• Writing clear, persuasive, original copy;
• Proofreading copy to check spelling and grammar;
• Amending, revising or redeveloping adverts or campaigns in response to feedback from the creative director, account team or clients;
• Overseeing campaigns through the production stage to completion;
• Working on several campaigns at once, sometimes under pressure and often to tight deadlines;
• Keeping up to date with popular culture and trends;
• Monitoring the effectiveness of advertising campaigns.
