Staff Production Manager
Award-winning bicoastal creative production company seeks staff production managers for each of it's offices located in Brooklyn and Santa Monica.
As our in-house Production Manager your responsibilities and role would include:
Assisting the Head of Production in all aspects of the bidding process.
Drafting detailed budget estimates for a variety of shooting styles
Researching the unique vendors any job may require and getting quotes.
Researching and holding of key crew members such as DPs, Production Designers and 1st ADs.
Developing calendars to allow for proper prep & shoot time.
Writing bid letters that outline the scope of the budget.
Maintaining a line of communication with the agency producer
Managing the creation of treatments:
Hiring treatment writers and designers to assist the director
Coordinating with the team so that the treatment is delivered on time and allows for feedback from the Executive Producers
Monitoring the treatments so that the creative falls within the range of the budget
Providing assistance to active productions as well any production that have wrapped
This role would report into our Head of Production, all of our Directors and Partners
Our benefits include optional health insurance and 3 weeks of paid time off. We also have free lunch and (almost) unlimited snacks every day! We make our equipment available to our team for personal projects when its not being used for company productions.
Requirements:
3-5 Years in Production Managing and Coordinating branded content, documentary and narrative shoots. Commercial experience is preferred.
Proficiency in Showbiz budgeting software
Knowledge of production protocols, vendors and permitting, in NYC and LA
Ability to work flexible schedule which may occasionally include late nights or weekends
Sense of humor, work ethic and positive attitude!
