Placement Specialist - School of Live
THE ROLE
We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented, strategic, and strong communicator to join the School of Live team based in Beverly Hills, CA. This role supports Live Nation's School of Live programs in two main ways: owning and administrating candidate placement into appropriate internship and/or apprenticeship opportunities, and managing the coordination and scheduling of guest speakers for various programs.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO:
• Partner with divisional leadership to understand open internship and apprenticeship opportunities and identify quality candidates for these roles
• Partner with hiring managers and make placement recommendations for entry-level and/or trade-based roles
• Maintain a diverse pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future placement into internship and/or apprenticeship roles, or other relevant School of Live programs
• Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidates
• Collaborate with the School of Live Career Coaches on relevant open roles and opportunities
• Communicate effectively, kindly, and in a timely manner with external candidates, internal employees, guest speakers, etc. ensuring a positive experience
• Develop strong working relationships with leadership, hiring managers, and HR
• Distribute surveys to candidates, participants, and guest speakers to collect feedback on their experience; aggregate responses and share with leadership, support the iteration process, and implement changes to improve
• Work with School of Live team to identify and schedule guest speakers for various programs
• Acts as administrator for all School of Live guest speaker details, logs, information, briefing documents, and any other necessary materials
• Assemble and format briefing documents for guest speakers, communicate effectively, and manage logistics necessary to successfully host guests of School of Live
• Manage all records associated with the role and develop an organized archival system accessible to relevant School of Live team members
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• Bachelor's degree in related field is preferred, or equivalent
• 2+ years of work experience in recruiting or related field, in a corporate and/or agency environment
• Great verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and strong organizational skills (attention to details).
• Ability to be both strategic and operational in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and the ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks.
• Project management experience, specifically managing detailed projects with multiple points of contact and stakeholders
• Capable of maintaining a positive attitude through challenging situations. Holds a passion for supporting employees and candidates at scale with a service mindset
• Experience working with and communicating to many different levels and departments in the organization
• Resourceful, able to problem solve, support with candidate Q/A, and navigate uncertainty to find solutions
• Advanced Microsoft Office/Suite proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
• Working knowledge of HRIS systems and/or able to learn new software technology quickly
