TeachTown, Inc is a research-based, education software company targeted towards children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other special needs.
TeachTown seeks a Vice President of Marketing.
SUMMARY:
Provide leadership and coordination of Company marketing functions. Develop and implement marketing strategies with a focus on new media and digital strategy. Monitor and analyze marketing activity against goals.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive strategic planning for all marketing decisions - including corporate positioning, market and competitive analysis, customer segment selection, product penetration plans, and related product positioning.
Create and oversee digital / new media marketing campaigns. Understanding of new media marketing and the digital space is a must. Knowledge of search engine optimization
and interpretation of analytics will be necessary.
Oversee marketing communications including branding, public relations, advertising, white papers, trade shows, seminars, events, collateral materials, website design, content analysis and market research management.
Oversee product management including market and customer research for market and product requirements, interface with production for product development, product pricing and product lifecycle management.
Define and direct marketing programs for demand creation, lead generation and interface with Senior VP of Sales for lead tracking and management.
Develop and manage the Company’s entire marketing budget.
Direct and oversee the company marketing function to identify and develop new customers for products and services.
Research and develop strategies and plans which identify marketing opportunities, direct marketing, and new project development.
Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing methods, costs, and results.
Establish and implement short- and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and marketing procedures.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Must have previous experience in strategic planning and marketing execution. Experience in planning marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, and successful public relations efforts.
Work requires very strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skill, ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects is a must, as is the ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
Bachelors Degree a must, Masters Degree in Marketing a plus. Job requires 7-10 years of experience and 3+ years in a management-level marketing position.
Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.
