AP/AR Coordinator:
Looking for an accounts payable manager / accounts receivable assistant at an entertainment legal and film management and sales firm in Manhattan. Will be responsible for all accounts payable functions and assisting with accounts receivable as necessary, as well as providing additional support and assistance to Office Manager. Looking for someone who is comfortable working independently, is proactive and not afraid to speak up. Must have an excellent phone and email manner when contacting clients; must also have a sense of discretion in dealing with confidential financial information and ability to develop an understanding of different client relationships. Experience with Quickbooks required.
Responsibilities:
Point person for all Accounts Payable functions, including:
-Entering all bills into QB
-Preparing checks and mailing bill payments
-Entering credit card charges into QB and obtaining appropriate backup
-Entering employee expenses into QB and coordinating reimbursements
-Cost savings research and bill analyses
Assistance with some Accounts Receivable functions, including:
-Generating and sending invoices
-Assisting with collections on delinquent accounts
-Occasionally depositing checks and receiving payments
Additional reponsibilities:
-Monthly bank statement reconciliation
-Providing general administrative assistance to the Office Manager as needed
