Creative Services Producer sought by Entravision Communications Corp. in Denver, CO.
Duties: Oversee the entire creative services process for Entravision’s Spanish-language television stations and online media. Conceptualize, produce, write and edit creative services materials, directed to the Hispanic community, for promotion, sales, news and special projects for the stations’ on-air and digital media products. Exercise full control over the content of all commercial, video, and promotions productions, making sure that they conform to station and network policies and regulations. Using contemporary non-linear editing programs such as Avid, 3D Max, Cut End, Premiere or equivalent, develop strategic television commercials and promotional production segments directed to the Hispanic community. Supervise the work of various departments engaged in the production of television commercials and other promotional projects, including Production Managers, Directors, staff and crew. Analyze expenditure, financial, and operation reports within various departments engaged in commercials and promotional development, and implement plans to minimize costs and maximize returns. Working with Production Director, manage budgetary and staffing matters relating to television stations’ commercials production and promotional functions.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Communications Arts, Fine Arts, Production Management, or related field, plus five (5) years of progressive production management or related experience in the broadcasting industry, working with live broadcast programming; managing all aspects of production, including content selection and/or development, filming and/or taping, and post-production; and conceptualizing or developing creative services materials for new segments in news, special events or other programs. Must be fluent in Spanish.
