Assistant Editor – Experienced!

Experienced in the AV world of trailers. Mid-level position with tasks that can seem menial at time. Not conducive for editors who want to be AE's.

We are looking for an Assistant Editor, proficient in Final Cut Pro, who will assist our creative team with our needs in both short and long formats as well as a desire to take on the duties of a Junior Editor, depending on skill set and talent. This is a fast paced, often stressful environment that requires attention to detail, accuracy and forward thinking. The ideal candidate must work well under pressure, be able to multi-task, prioritize, has great attention to detail, willingness to work long hours and consistently meet tight deadlines. Positive, motivated, team-player with a “can-do” attitude and a sense of humor is essential.

Job Requirements:

Final Cut Pro proficient
DVD Studio Pro proficient
Mac proficient
Extensive knowledge of the post-production process, dubs, finishing
Entertainment creative advertising experience preferred.
