Job Description/Responsibilities: Job Type: Full Time
Entravision Communications, TV & Radio is looking for a full-time experienced Research Director. Candidate will be responsible for producing English and Spanish Language sales and marketing materials for local and national sales staff for both TV and Radio entities. The position requires a working knowledge and understanding of the following research tools such as CMR/Adtelligence, Nielsen Station Index (NSI), Scarborough, RL Polk, Marketon, Global Insight, Nielsen Hispanic Station Index (NHSI) and Arbitron. The Research Directors primary responsibility is to inform and educate the sales force of audience and demographic data and supports sales staff in client presentations involving marketing data. The position also consults and educates Sales Managers and Account Executives on research based projects and initiatives.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:. Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related field. Three years experience as a Marketing/Sales Assistant or Copywriter. The position requires proficiency in a Windows PC environment including MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) as well as Photo Shop, CMR/Adtelligent, Nielsen (NSI), Scarborough, conceptual knowledge of RL Polk, Marketron, Global Insight, Nielsen Hispanic Station Index (NHSI) and Arbitron. Candidates should be a self-starter who learns quickly and has the ability to work independently and multi-task, strong written and verbal communications, a high level of organization and time management skills with attention to detail as well as excellent interpersonal skills. Familiarity with Hispanic Culture a plus. Position may also require a minimal amount of travel.
