Overview
Must be able to multi-task and handle orders and shipments for exports and DJ Promo in a fast paced environment with daily deadlines.
Responsibilities
•Process all international orders. Check stock availability, export availability, and origin of product.
•Advise customers of product not available to them. Make sure all orders drop to pick tickets and coordinate with all warehouses (Hits, Catalog, N/R) to make certain that product is packed in a timely manner according to shipping schedules.
•Match and verify packing lists to invoices. Check invoices against original orders to be sure all product on order is packed and completed for shipment. Check system for any back orders and cancellations, and notify customers where necessary.
•Verify shipping manifests. Use Excel spreadsheet to total all details of invoices and packing lists for preparation of export documentation. Forward details of shipments to EDC. Fax invoices to customers and advise shipping details as necessary.
•Process and ship export free goods orders utilizing UPS worldship, DHL online shipping, and coordinate shipments with DJ Promo Department.
•Research any claims from customers and get POD from freight forwarders, UPS, DHL, or FedEx.
•Work with Customs offices or freight forwarders when necessary to resolve any problems. Work with Claims Department on any payment discrepancies, write up call sheets and manual credits and debits.
•Coordinate with Returns department the preparation of paperwork for Unauthorized Returns for Puerto Rico.
•Receive DJ Promo product into Legacy, and prepare orders for shipments from Fishers and Nashville plant.
•Download DJ promo lists to UPS Worldship to generate shipping labels or prepare mailing labels.
•Coordinate orders and shipments with warehouse or manufacturer in Nashville.
•Prepare export orders and paperwork for DJ product.
•Prepare scrap requests and monitor inventory in both Fishers and Nashville locations.
•Run end of day shipping reports through UPS.
•Update DJ Central on-line ordering system.
Requirements
•Two years of proven Customer Service experience
•Ability to set priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
•Excellent customer service skills
•Knowledge of computer systems (PC)
•Data entry, typing and 10 key experience required
•Excellent investigative and communication skills required
•Good organizational skills
•Ability to prioritize work load
•Work well under pressure
•Must be a team player
•Export or shipping experience preferred
•Some post-secondary education preferred
