''A'' Side Music LLC-- a quickly growing music publisher representing all genres, including many prestigious jazz catalogs-- seeks a Copyright & Royalty Administrator.
**This is a full-time job, but is results-driven with flexible hours and the opportunity to telecommute.**
**Please note this is NOT a promotions or marketing position**
**When sending your work history, please detail any experience you've had with Excel, data entry, financial bookkeeping, music publishing databases.**
Ideal candidate (i) has some experience with music publishing, bookkeeping, and data entry; (ii) loves music of all genres; and (iii) wants to be a part of a growing business.
Responsibilities:
•Assist the Copyright & Royalty Manager with song registrations, license transactions, and royalty runs
•Help maintain a complex database of song titles, writer and publisher shares, and license contracts
•Respond to internal and external licensing & royalty inquiries
•Special projects as needed
•Maintain accurate and organized filing
Requirements:
•Proficient in math and Excel software
•Capable of communicating clearly and courteously to company clients and colleagues
•Comfortable working with colleagues via email, IM, and phone
•Very organized and detail oriented
•Self-motivated and able to prioritize a high work volume
•Proficient in Word
•Familiarity with Counterpoint software preferred
•Music publishing experience preferred
•Bachelors Degree preferred
