BNC L.A. is seeking a part-time/temporary Media Analyst, who will be responsible for tracking respective media outlets in search of stories where BNC clients have been showcased. This position is integral to the day-to-day operations for our publicists, our clients and other departments within BNC. The Media Analyst will have an interest in the entertainment and lifestyle arena since their daily tasks will be strictly focused on these topics. Although this is a part-time temporary position, this is an excellent opportunity for a successful Media Analyst to gain exposure to the company and apply for other positions within BNC as they arise.
Daily Job Duties:
- On a daily basis, read print publications and tag stories that mention BNC clients
- Scan tagged print stories that mention clients, and distribute to respective BNC publicists
- Prepare magazines for circulation to respective BNC recipients
- Record and watch entertainment t.v. shows and create a report of BNC clients that were mentioned
Job Requirements:
- Excellent computer skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with current pop culture arena
- Ability to take on multiple responsibilities when necessary
- Self-starter, highly motivated
- Professional and dependable
BNC is seeking a candidate who is interested in working on a part-time temporary basis, for a minimum of 6 months. The hours for the Media Analyst are Monday - Friday, 8 am – 12 pm, with occasional overtime. The pay is $8.00 hourly (non-negotiable).
