Position: Administrative Assistant, Entertainment, Sports, and Interactive
Position Summary:
Provides general administrative and clerical support for the Music Programming, Marketing, and Interactive teams in the DC location. Receives and responds to routine correspondence following established procedures. Books and manages travel for multiple employees. Requires a basic understanding of the department's operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Answers telephones, screens calls and takes messages
-Schedules meetings and ensures the necessary facilities and equipment are reserved
-Maintains calendars and appointments
-Makes travel arrangements
-Submits and ensures completion of contract approval forms
-Submits and tracks invoices up to and including payment date
-Composes, proofreads and edits memos, letters and e-mails
-Maintains files
-Performs data entry, copying, faxing, printing, binding, mail distribution and supply ordering
-Creates and logs expense reports
-Attends meetings and records minutes, as requested
-Compiles information and prepares materials for presentations
-Prepares audio/visual presentations in PowerPoint
-Assembles and distributes information
-Maintains confidentiality of information
-Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
-Associate's degree or higher preferred
-One to three years of administrative experience, preferably in a corporate environment

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to work independently and in a team environment
-Ability to pay attention to details and be organized
-Ability to project a professional image over the phone and in person

-Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
-Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects
-Spelling, grammar, proofreading and editing skills
-Strong organizational skills and attention to details
-Creative writing ability
Comfortable working with talent, artists and high profile individuals
-Ability to interact with other Administrative Assistants as well as mid to high level executives
-Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast paced environment
-Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
Technical Skills:
Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
