iHollywood Forum is a leading producer of business events, dinners, summits, conferences and mixers for entertainment and tech executives. We need an event coordinator to assist with recruiting speakers and managing our events. . Reporting to the Conference Manager, this person will work on all phases of events and conferences from planning and logistics to the execution. You should be excellent on phones, high energy, write short emails with good grammar, organized, self starter, takes initiative.. More specifically, duties will include:
• Internet research to find contact info for prospective speakers
• Sending out invitation blasts, manage incoming online/voice responses
• Recruit speakers from our target list by email and phone
• Recruit partners from media and trade outlets
• Handle updates for social media for Facebook and Twitter campaigns.
• General administrative support and data entry as required
We prefer someone with knowledge of Adobe photoshop,, Dreamweaver or Wordpress. We keep our sites in Wordpress.
