Position Overview
Do you have a passion for audio and helping advertisers develop a 'sound strategy' that will get results for their businesses?
Can you write for a variety of consumer groups and advertiser targets?
Do you thrive in a fast-paced and hectic environment?
Do you think too many audio ads suck and you can create much better ads?
Responsibilities
• Writing and providing creative direction for broadcast and digital audio commercials
• Writing and providing creative direction for online sales integration content
• Is the primary liaison to iHeartMedia Creative Studio, coordinating talent, strategic sessions and copywriting, and as such will have access to CSG talent, writers and producers
• Confer with large advertisers to determine creative strategy
• Work with boutique agencies as a resource for production and copywriting
• Collaborates with sales and on-air talent to execute effective endorsements
• Creates and coordinates a stable of in-house ''voice talent''
• Creating scripts for commercials produced on spec as well as for audio/video segments of proposals
Qualifications
• Minimum 2-3 experience as a copywriter with an advertising agency or media company
• Has created audio campaigns for advertisers and can share examples of those campaigns
• Knowledge of direct-response as well as brand/strategic advertising
• Understands the marketing model, the power of sound and audio, and knows how to create a strong 'sound strategy' for advertisers
• Thrives in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment
• Able to work hand-in-hand with VPs of Sales, account executives, program directors and on-air personalities
