Position Overview
The Revenue Strategy & Analytics team provides strategic direction for optimizing revenue, provides data for more effective decision making, creates tools and develops processes to help various sales divisions work with markets and advertisers more efficiently and effectively. The Revenue Strategy & Analytics group collaborates with the Total Traffic & Weather Network (TTWN) sales team to manage pricing, inventory and sales operations. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Revenue Strategy & Analytics.
Required Skills
Sales Support: assist and guide account executives and VPs on sales proposals by evaluating pricing and inventory utilization to meet client objectives
Account Management: assist planning, scheduling, and contract teams to ensure that orders deliver in full
Revenue Analysis: provide analytical support to TTWN senior leadership, proactively identifying issues and developing data-driven answers/solutions
Business Tools: create Excel/SQL tools to help leadership evaluate business performance, implement initiatives and improve sales operations
Processes: develop processes to streamline and optimize sales, pricing and operations workflow
Team Development: provide personal training to develop account executives, assistants, sales planners and business operations team
Required Experience
Advanced problem solving and analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative
High attention to detail
Ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure while managing multiple tasks
Ability to make data-driven strategic and tactical decisions
Ability to recognize patterns and distill complex thoughts/data
Ability to collaborate successfully with diverse individuals
Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
Ability to work independently or in a team setting
Ability to question status quo and drive improvement
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
Advanced knowledge of Excel required
Familiarity with SQL preferred
Bachelor's degree with strong academic record
