dvDepot is looking for a technically savvy intern to work in our office Mondays and Wednesdays for 3-4 months. Students enrolled in a college/university are preferred, but all are welcome to apply. The internship is unpaid, but academic credit is available.
You must be interested in learning about professional gear and the day-to-day operations of a Rental House. You will learn about the functionality of video production equipment and how it's applied in the field. You will be taught to identify and test out the gear, providing hands-on experience. You will also go out on runs, becoming familiar with NYC and our clients. You must be able to work independently or with a team, and have excellent organizational skills. Interest in the technical side of the film/television industry is a must.
