Overview and Responsibilities
We are currently seeking an eager and organized Financial Analyst to join the Global Production & Broadcast Ops Finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to have a broad range of responsibility and visibility across the Finance and Technology organizations.
The Global Production & Broadcast team oversees the CBS Broadcast Center’s studio and network distribution operation, including technical engineering support, all aspects of studio productions (including staffing, control room operations, camera, lighting, etc.). This role will provide financial oversight for the Global Tech Production & Broadcast Ops group within our technology organization. The position will work closely with the business group and will take lead on providing support and leading overall financial performance to ensure business goals are achieved. Key duties include monthly financial close, monthly forecast, budget and long-range plan cycles and control management of operational expenses and capital expenditures. The FA will also collaborate with technology teams to build and maintain financial models for projects, budgets, and forecasts.
Responsibilities
will include but not be limited to:
• Be responsible for the periodic planning and reporting process for the Global Tech P&B Ops, coordinating timelines and deliverables with business and finance partners.
• Work collaboratively with accounting during month-end close process to ensure accuracy of actual results.
• Develop financial models supporting business opportunities, workflow improvements, and special projects to reduce cost and spending and/or support business growth opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with business partners to develop annual budgets and ongoing forecast updates.
• Lead multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy.
• Identify and drive efficiency opportunities for the team’s financial processes.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required, a focus in Finance or Accounting a plus.
• 3 years of related work experience, including forecasting and budgeting experience.
Additional Qualifications:
• Knowledge of accounting and finance principles
• Strategic and highly analytic. Ability to synthesize data and provide insightful narrative of business results.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to navigate within a matrixed environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP, TM1, Longview, and PowerPoint are a plus.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $60,000.00 - 80,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
