Executive Assistant (Disney Television Studios)
Job Summary:
Disney Television Studios seeks a qualified candidate for an Executive Assistant position to support a high-level entertainment executive. This position is the 2nd Executive Assistant role on the administrative team.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the schedule of events, including but not limited to premiers, award shows, parties, table reads, etc.
• Prepare correspondence and manage gift-giving.
• Book travel, and manage the executive's itinerary.
• Maintain operations of two offices (keep all supplies and refreshments stocked, handle maintenance and IT issues).
• File expense reports for the executive and the office.
• Handle a variety of tasks and errands for the executive, as needed.
• Schedule meals and make dining reservations.
• Coordinate room reservations and drive-on passes
• Maintain physical and digital files for the office, including the executive's contacts.
• Provide phone coverage and perform related tasks for executive as needed (rolling calls; providing timely communication).
• Support the 1st Executive Assistant as requested including providing back-up support when the 1st Executive Assistant is out of the office.
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of 1 year of previous network, studio, agency, or production-related television experience in a similar administrative role, supporting a senior executive or a team of executives
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organization abilities with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively (juggle multiple priorities and projects) in a fast-paced, frequently changing environment.
• Ability to take initiative to identify and solve problems independently.
• Apply discretionary judgement, including strict confidentiality of work matters.
• Provide professional etiquette and a positive, welcoming demeanor while interacting with internal partners and external guests.
• Must be able to professionally and cooperatively partner with the 1st Executive Assistant and other team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Existing knowledge of the TV industry.
Required Education
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
