Young Hollywood LLC is seeking a Chief Revenue Officer to support ongoing partnership efforts. This person will focus on sourcing and negotiating partnerships with a wide variety of companies (advertisers, distribution partners, etc). Candidates must have experience with web 2.0 and a thorough understanding of the business models underlying the media, advertising and technology industries. Specifically, this person would help in forging and managing new, innovative relationships between advertisers and distribution partners who wish to develop programming for digital media. This individual will help evolve and grow a successful business that has been established as a hot-bed for pioneering digital content programs.
Responsibilities:
Experience working well horizontally across multiple functional areas to gain alignment amongst stakeholders to drive a beneficial outcome
Prospecting, qualifying and negotiating agreements with partners
Conducting industry analysis to identify revenue and distribution opportunities
Developing strategies and business plans in partnership with other functional groups to realize opportunities
Develop executive presentations, case studies and other content (deal status, review of new opportunities) for prospective partners
Coordinating with applicable departments on deal approval/closure
Leading the implementation of agreements
Qualifications:
3+ years of business development experience in the digital or media industry
Deep knowledge and understanding of digital media, including video content distribution
In-depth understanding of the Internet, developing media platforms and the associated business models
Superior communication skills with the ability to interact cross-functionally at all organizational levels
Strong negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to structure complex business transactions
Excellent excel and PowerPoint skills
Prior experience at a Cable Network (MTV, E!) a major plus
Prior experience in management consulting (McKinsey, Bain, BCG) or investment banking is a plus
High degree of attention to detail and strong project management skills with the ability to keep the strategic vision in sight
Strong time management and prioritization skills with a demonstrated ability to execute against multiple projects and excel in a fast-paced, results-oriented work environment
