POSITION:
Seeking an extremely organized, detail-oriented, upbeat Executive Assistant to work directly with the Co-Executive Producer/Showrunner for PBS' groundbreaking new children's show, ''Mack & Moxy.''
THE SHOW:
''Mack & Moxy'' is the first kids' show about causes, launching soon on PBS. With a mission to raise the next generation of humanitarians, children learn about kindness, compassion, and the joy of helping others. Blending world-class entertainment with social emotional learning, ''Mack & Moxy'' partners with America's leading charities and inspires young audiences.
The Executive Assistant acts as the Co-Executive Producer / Showrunner's right-hand in coordinating and communicating workflow, as well as scheduling and streamlining the many elements of ''Mack & Moxy's'' multi-faceted production and expansive outreach plan.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be extremely organized, detail oriented, and self-motivated
- Tech savvy
- Demonstrated experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Final Draft, and file sharing programs
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Strong verbal and writing abilities with attention to grammar and punctuation
- Personable and pleasant demeanor, healthy lifestyle, and a good heart
DUTIES:
- Assist showrunner in organizing and managing workflow in all facets of development, production, post production, and publicity
- Establish and maintain effective administration systems and implement technology
- Create, organize, and maintain multiple files and media in cloud storage
- Schedule and confirm meetings and important dates
- Upgrade and integrate software systems
- Book travel arrangements
- Develop familiarity and understanding with all partners, contributors, and content in various stages of development, production, and post
- Attendance at staff and development meetings as specified
- Run errands
PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in production or an administrative support role
- Bachelors degree
