Job Description
The primary focus of this position is to facilitate graphics coordination within Wild Card. This entails creating work orders, keeping track of all current job status, due dates, scope of work, delivery specs, posting offline renders as well as delivering final finish renders. The position interacts with employees at all levels of the company as well as outside finishing vendors.
Duties
• Coordinating graphics from design, to production, and through the finishing process
• Keeping track of the status of current projects and requests
• Taking detailed notes and thoroughly communicating all facets of a request
• Checking all graphics and handling digital deliveries in a timely manner adhering to deadlines, and getting necessary approvals along the way
• Maintaining workflow efficiency
• Project research
• Archival/stock footage management
• Various administrative tasks (time sheets, work orders, etc.)
Requirements
• Meticulous attention to detail and quality control
• Great organizational skills
• Great interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple, timely priorities simultaneously, utilizing advanced multitasking skills; ability to filter and direct attention to immediate needs
• Self motivator and resourceful; able to work and seek answers independently.
• Ability to remain calm and react effectively and efficiently
• Ability to take direction well
• Passion for design/film
• One year of experience in the entertainment industry or a graphics department preferred
• College degree in related field preferred
• Familiarity with Photoshop and Illustrator preferred
• Design background preferred
• Prior knowledge of film standards (frame rates, aspect ratios, etc.) a plus
• Knowledge of After Effects/Cinema 4D a plus
In order to adjust to changes in our business, it may become necessary to add, remove or modify certain duties and responsibilities, or to reassign you to another job position. From time to time you may be asked to work on special projects or to assist with other work. Your cooperation and assistance in performing such additional work is expected.
