We have recently moved into our first office and are looking for someone excited to be in a start-up environment with room for growth. This position is to assist the company in executing social media strategies, project management, office administration and help wherever is needed on shoot days / on set. The CM's role is to be a professional, proactive, resourceful, and detail-oriented team member who effectively and consistently follows through on all tasks undertaken.
Requirements:
• 2-3 years agency experience or digital media experience
• 1-2 years experience working on or creating content for a digital property (preferred)
• Passionate about women's lifestyle space and digital media
• Must be an enthusiastic and avid social media user
• Knowledge and understanding of social media/digital platforms (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google +, YouTube, Tumblr, Wordpress)
• Experience handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to generate ideas and work with minimal guidance
• Up to date with online publications and blogs in the parenting and lifestyle space
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented and deadline driven with excellent written skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Extremely organized and multi-tasking abilities a must
• Team player attitude with a 'big picture' perspective / willing to 'roll up the sleeves' and do whatever it takes to get the job done.
• Must be resourceful
• Fluency in English
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Keynote and Photoshop
Responsibilities:
• Creating content for social media sites, primarily Facebook and Instagram, along with regularly responding to community comments.
• Manage blogger outreach programs
• Monitor trends on social media and with other digital influencers
• Manage affiliate sales programs
• Assist in various stages of production for original web video content or branded entertainment
• Help conceptualize content ideas and create pitch materials for branded entertainment projects
• Read relevant papers / publications and flag articles of interest
• General office admin tasks
