Whalerock Industries is currently looking for a Sales Coordinator. The Sales Coordinator will work primarily with Whalerock Industries celebrity news sites and Integrated Marketing (cross site) programs. They will be assisting with the development and translation of creative concepts into innovative advertiser programs and pitches across web, video, social and mobile.
The ideal candidate…
Will…
• Assist in the on-time delivery of proactive pitches for key accounts, presentations and programs for WRI’s celebrity news sites as well as WRI Integrated Marketing programs.
• Coordinate program collateral (powerpoint presentations, imagery/mocks, case studies, research, one sheets etc.)
• Collaborate with internal WRI teams by assisting with requests and follow-ups with: Design, Research, Product, Video, Contest/promotion and Production
• Collaborate with celebrity news sites’ distribution partners by assisting with requests such as site metrics and social reach, video talent and fees, sharing new and updated celebrity site sales materials
• Keep track of sales pipeline and own sponsorship calendars for celebrity news sites
• Assist celebrity news site editors in creatively and strategically growing the their social media
• Assist in organizing, creating, strategizing and overseeing all sales materials and internal sales documents for celebrity news sites
• Participate in sales brainstorms for Integrated Marketing programs and RFPs
• Support Integrated Marketing and Account Management during production, execution of sold custom elements and creating sold campaign overviews for clients

• 2 years in sales and/or integrated marketing (branded entertainment) environment
• 2 years in digital environment
• Solid experience with Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Excellent communication skills- both verbal and written
