Position: Business Development Assistant
*Only Southern California Candidates being considered*
Whalerock Industries is currently seeking an executive assistant to support our Head of Business Development. The ideal candidate will have prior experience supporting senior level executives on the business side of the house.
Responsibilities:
Field calls, organizing daily calendar, coordinate on/offsite meetings, greet guests, and handle project files.
Manage executives' phones, facilitate inter-departmental meetings and communication.
Compile, print and assemble departmental meeting agendas and minutes.
Coordination of travel arrangements and accommodations, and processing expense reports.
Assist on business-related research & projects, as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree preferred
2-3 years prior experience working as an executive assistant to a senior executive at a studio, network or digital media company in any one of the following departments: business affairs, finance/accounting or business development.
Ideal candidate will be a self-starter; highly organized detail-oriented, hard-working, personable team player with a great attitude.
Excellent communication skills are a must; must be comfortable with and adept at receiving frank, direct feedback and offering the same, in a professional, composed manner.
Ability to maintain composure, working quickly and efficiently under sometimes high-volume, high-demand conditions
Comfortable working with various types of technology, including MACs, iPad, etc.
Proficiency with MS Office applications specially Excel and PowerPoint
