Whalerock Industries is seeking an editor with a solid knowledge of social media and pop culture for a truly singular site–Purple Clover. PC is a lifestyle destination, which attracts millions of people of a certain age who still think they’re cool. The editor is primarily responsible for the daily care, feeding and growth of all of our social feeds, as well as creating compelling content for our site.

• Obsessively and brilliantly program Facebook and, to a slightly lesser degree, Twitter.
• - Create, curate and package content, including articles, galleries and videos.
• Contribute content and product ideas.
• Work independently, solve problems, make decisions, and communicate effectively with co-workers.

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Keen with editorial sensibility and a good eye for visuals.

Has…
• Excellent editing, writing, story-packaging, digital - editorial and SEO skills.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2 years prior experience as an editor or content producer in the media business.
• Working knowledge of common CMS environments.
