Will…
• Maintain disaster recovery and back-up procedures as well as information security and control structures
• Perform routine maintenance on all Whalerock network, computer, and server infrastructure
• Define and enforce organization standards while maintaining quality
• Serve as a technology advisor for the business when new solutions are needed
• Evaluate system potential by testing compatibility of new programs with existing programs
• Verify application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented
• Evaluate expansions or enhancements by studying work load and capacity of computer system
• Achieve computer system objectives by gathering pertinent data; identifying and evaluating options; recommending a course of action
• Maintain client confidence and be protective of operations by keeping all information confidential
• Improve existing programs by reviewing objectives and specifications; evaluating proposed changes; recommending changes; making modifications
• Place software/hardware into production by loading software and establishing connections into computer
• Maximize use of hardware and software by training users; interpreting instructions; answering questions
• Maintains historical records by documenting hardware and software changes and revisions

• Knowledgeable of information technology strategies, policies, and procedures
• Knowledgeable in the latest security vulnerabilities and trends
• Able to identify problems, evaluate trends and anticipate requirements

• Highly skilled with a strong technical understanding
Has…
• Experience working within a creative environment where ambiguity is frequent and sense of urgency is high
• Comfortable managing one direct report
• A can-do attitude; no task is too small or menial to solve/handle
• 7 to 10 years of experience within Information Technology and a corporate helpdesk
• Managed/partnered with an outside IT vendor (preferred, not required)
• Used ticketing software such as ServiceNow, Zendesk, etc in a supervisory role
• Experience supporting senior level and VIP executives
• Supported organizations that are a mostly Mac environment
• Experience administering system management tools such as Casper, JAMF, and SCCM
• Administering Software as a Service (SaaS) such as Slack, Trello, Dropbox, etc
• Worked with networking equipment such as Cisco Meraki and Barracuda Firewalls
• Extensive understanding of productivity tools such as Office 365 and Adobe Creative Cloud
• Advance skills in system administration of virtual machines and servers
• Audio/Visual support knowledge as it pertains to conference rooms and digital signage (preferred, not required)
