Are you eager to learn? Always wanting to be ahead of the game? A team player? Love working with a camera and making digital, social video? Want to learn how unscripted TV, game shows, documentary, comedy and formats are made? Bursting at the seams with creative ideas for shoots? Yes to all these questions? Well, Whalerock Industries is looking for students like you to work with our digital video development, production and post-production teams this Fall 2017! Our internship program runs from September 18, 2017 through November 17, 2017. It’s a paid internship and students will work at least 2 full days a week (16 hours total).
The ideal digital video production intern…
Will…
• Contribute to video content development and production across all of our digital brands, which include Wonderwall.com, PurpleClover, Mom.me, branded content, Facebook live multi-camera streaming series, unscripted television for a variety of cable networks, and our app platforms
• Assist in studio and field video shoots
• Learn about the development process of original shows first hand
• Share thoughts with editors and learn the post-production process in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro)
• Want to develop 360 social & digital content strategies for brands, talent and IP
• Be submerged in a fast-paced environment and be ready to switch gears at a moment’s notice
• Have the opportunity to develop and pitch an original idea to the leadership team
Is…
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program
• A team player willing to bring ideas and opinions to the table
• Strongly interested in digital media and video production
• Ready to take an idea from fruition to filming to post-production
• Willing to take direction and see assignments through completion in a timely manner
• Available to work onsite at our West Hollywood office at least two full 8 days a week (16 hours total) from 9/18/17 through 11/17/17.
