General Job Description:
WCIU ''The U'' is looking for an energetic, humorous host for local programming. This is a rare opportunity to deliver scripted, improvised and live material for a Chicago audience, in the field and in the studio.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Deliver scripted, improvised and live material in the field and in studio.
Other duties, as assigned.
Requirements:
A degree in Communications or related field.
Previous on-air or live audience experience is helpful.
Must be proficient on social media outlets such as : Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, etc.
Passionate about covering local content.
Flexibility to work with guests, sponsors, children and even animals are all part of the job.
