Part Time Unpaid Internship
We are looking for a talented intern to support our PR and social media activities within our LA office. You will have a love for all things entertainment, digital media, social networks and consumer sites and publications. You'll need to be creative, detail-orientated, a team player, have excellent written skills and be calm under pressure. This is an exciting and dynamic role.
Key responsibilities will include:
Clipping, tracking and taking screenshots of daily campaign coverage
Compiling target lists of influencers, sites and blogs according to campaign specification and strategies
Researching emerging social platforms, media contacts, websites, writers and bloggers and maintaining internal database
Assisting with writing of custom editorial/copy for PR placement and social seeding
Assisting with concept and pitch documents for social media and PR initiatives
Researching relevant brand partners
Compiling industry newsletter to be shared on a biweekly basis
Attending and contributing to internal company meetings and brainstorms
Supporting and reporting to senior management
Following and reporting on social trends and tech developments
Assisting with the creation and content for posting schedules
Additional administrative tasks which will be determined daily
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:
Skills and qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business or Media preferred
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Photoshop. Social tools such as Hootsuite, Tweetdeck, Sysomos, a plus
Excellent writing and organizational skills
Familiarity with wide range of social channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, YouTube, Pinterest, Google+, Snapshot, Snapchat, Foursquare, TV Tag and Reddit, etc.) as well as lifestyle and entertainment sites, magazines and television programs
Fluent in written and spoken English
Familiarity with blogging platforms and general content strategy

Passion for and basic knowledge, understanding and interest in the film and television industry
Computer savvy, ''plugged-in'' and an appetite for all things new media; keeping up-to-date on relevant news, technological developments and innovations
Ability to work under tight deadlines and work on several projects simultaneously
