Department Description:
The Atlantic Records Video department handles everything from video conception to promoting to the various channels and Dot.Com’s to ensure video spins for our artist’s videos. We are a fast paced, goal-oriented team dedicated to not only producing and promoting our artist’s videos, but also fostering relationships with our media outlets. There is a high expectation to keep our records, databases, reports, and booking keeping current as it is the only way we can effectively make the best decisions for our strategies while keeping costs down for our artist’s and label.
Detailed Job Description/ Responsibilities:
• Responsible for providing strong administrative support to the VP of Promotion and VP of Television Marketing.
• Coordinate travel arrangements, manage high call volume, administer office tasks, schedule meetings, submit business expenses and organize artist calendars.
• Pull weekly Mediabase, BDS and Soundscan reports.
• Department invoice processing and distribution (opening purchase orders and processing invoices from vendors in a timely manner, adjusting PO’s to accommodate new invoices, reconciling past overdue invoices, etc..).
• Maintain detailed records and reports of all budgets for artist appearances and tapings.
• Service weekly music video submissions to MTV, VH1, BET and FUSE.
• Process requests from MTV, VH1, BET, and FUSE with information and assets to support our artists.
• Maintain backup library of music videos and artist television appearances.
• Cover artist tapings and appearances at various networks.
• Oversee department ticket solicitations for upcoming shows.
• Supervise department interns each semester.
• Pull and blast artist mentions and articles on MTV, Vh1, BET, Fuse, Revolt’s websites.

Special Requirements/Preferences:
• Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, SAP (or similar accounting software)
• Previous work experiences in a record label or corporate environment a plus
• Team Player
• Must be organized and able to multi-task and handle pressure due to high work volume
Education Required:
• 4 year undergraduate degree preferred.
