Talent Acquisition Sourcer/Junior Recruiter (Temporary Role)
Department Description: The Talent Acquisition department is responsible for providing the leadership, management and delivery of domestic recruitment efforts for Warner Music Group. This includes the development and delivery of effective recruitment programs and leveraging best practices to meet the business challenges and objectives of Warner Music Group.
High Level Job Description: Warner Music Group is currently looking for a Contract Sourcer/Junior Recruiter to support our recruitment efforts on the direct hire and internship front. This role will be responsible for ensuring that all talent needs are sourced and placed across the organization. This role will support three recruiters and our internship program.
Detailed Job Description/ Responsibilities:
• Support the management of the recruitment life cycle for WMG Internship Program across all business units (i.e. sourcing, interviewing, scheduling). Includes overseeing HR recruitment support on assignments and project-related tasks
• Collaborate with Recruiters to create and execute multiple cost-effective sourcing/recruitment strategies/plans (recruitment advertising, web-based job boards, educational programs, job fairs, etc.) to identify, build and maintain a database of talent for referral to Talent Acquisition Team for current and future employment opportunities at WMG
• Provide support for talent development programs
• Research and generate lists of target candidates within established industries
• Research new target job boards and mine social networking databases for active and passive candidates
• Coach and counsel managers on all recruitment and interviewing processes related to the internship program
• Provide support for planning and coordinating internal intern events
• Liaise with Senior Director to troubleshoot and provide corrective action for all levels of intern relations issues (i.e. employee complaints, disciplinary actions, HR compliance etc.).
• Responsible for intern related file maintenance, compliance, and department organization.
• Partner with Senior Director and WMG Compliance team regarding background checks for interns and full time employees, managing Adverse Action process.
• Special projects as required
Required Competencies/Skills:
• Adept at high-volume recruiting within a fast-paced multi-functional corporate and creative environment.
• Disciplined self-starter with can-do attitude; proactive, resourceful, collaborative team player; detail-oriented and strong follow-through skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects
• Excellent written and oral communication skills that demonstrate a proven ability to develop relationships with a range of internal stakeholders
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge of employment law required
• Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with all levels of management
• Strong working knowledge of Web search engines, Microsoft Office Suite, as well as applicant tracking systems (Taleo preferred)
• Proficient Microsoft Office Suite experience
Special Requirements/Preferences:
• Prior experience working in music entertainment and/or media industry preferred
Education/Experience Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 1 years of recruitment experience in a fast paced environment
