Studio and Archive Operations Assistant (Long Term Temporary Position)
The department consists of two specific areas of responsibility: Studio and Archive Operations
Studio- manages the quality assurance and delivery of production masters for physical and digital manufacturing, in addition to fulfilling audio copy requests from our WMG label partners.
Archives- manages the cataloging, preservation and access to the company’s master assets, both physical and digital. This includes audio and video content, artwork and photographs, as well as various documents.
Detailed Job Description/ Responsibilities:
STUDIO
• File routing and delivery
• File conversions
• Audio file Quality Assurance
• Creation of archive folders
• Data entry
• General Studio Support
ARCHIVE
• Provides research assistance for archival assets
• Organizes and catalogs original artwork, photos, publicity materials and various documents
• Completes check in and check out process for borrowed assets
• Fulfills requests for professional quality scans of photographs, slides, negatives and documents
• Pulling and filing of archived assets

Special Requirements/Preferences:
• Computer proficient; specifically Excel; Word, Outlook, FTP, Photoshop, Acrobat
• Familiarity with Mac and PC platforms
• Familiarity with graphic and audio file formats
• Data entry experience
• Ability to operate professional scanning equipment and software
• Internet and database research skills
• Knowledge or interest in photography
• Knowledge or interest in audio software
