High Level Job Description:
The Sr. Director of Strategic Marketing will be responsible for cultivating strategic partnerships for Warner Music Nashville’s artist roster and label assets by a) creating impactful campaigns and promotions to extend the brand, raise the profile of artists and label brands; b) generating new revenue lines to fund creative marketing campaigns; and c) offset marketing costs.
Detailed Job Description/ Responsibilities:
• Create campaigns that vary in size and scope and extend from overall company-based partnerships that leverage and monetize in-house resources such WMNs extensive network of college representatives, brand management and digital marketing teams, the company website, e-mail lists and wireless database; to artist-based, 3rd party campaigns that include TV, print, radio and online components, tour sponsorships, music licensing and video product placement.
• Cultivate and maintain key relationships with CEOs, CMOs, agency partners, 3rd parties, brand marketers, magazines, television marketing executives to create opportunities for the label and our artists; Primary label liaison with agencies and brand marketing community.
• Work with product managers, radio promotion, sales, publicity, new media, art department to develop creative marketing strategy and plans as needed for all developing and established artists.
• Work with legal and business affairs to execute all deals. Must be able to read and understand legal materials and documents and have the ability to recognize and extract critical data and information.
• Work with WMG and publishers on large deals to advantage company position, artist exposure, bring in licensing revenues, collect data, and generate revenue.
• Work within established budget to execute and coordinate key marketing programs. Prepare and submit project budgets for all marketing activities. Following approval, manage budgets throughout the fiscal year.
• Manage staff and communicate company priorities to maximize marketing opportunities for our artists.
• Work closely with WMN Digital Teams to grow email/mobile mailing list, track and monitor web metrics/analytics and recommend a course of action.

Education Required/Preferred:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Marketing Management, Journalism, Communications, General Business or a related field.
