Department Description: The finance department is responsible for accurately reporting the financial position of the company on a monthly and quarterly basis. In addition, the finance department is responsible for establishing operational controls related to financial activities and preparing the fiscal budget for which the company is measured against. Finally, the department is a partner to all other departments with regards to making strategic decisions that benefit the company.
High Level Job Description:
Responsible for the financial planning and analysis of recorded music and emerging artist service revenue and costs.
Detailed Job Description/ Responsibilities:
• Assist SVP of Artist Partnerships in tracking artist tour income.
• Preparation of quarterly artist and label P&L’s provided to Atlantic senior management.
• Manage artist marketing budgets.
• Facilitate the architecture and operating procedures for all New Business accounting, including merchandise, touring, fan clubs, branding and other revenue streams.
• Performs deal analysis to evaluate the appropriate pricing and margin costs associated with upcoming releases.
• Review and issuance of joint venture and P&D statements.
• Special assignments as required / ad-hoc analysis

Special Requirements/Preferences:
• Minimum 4-5 years of Finance/Accounting experience
• Music Industry experience a plus
• Finance and/or Accounting bachelor degree
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP
