Summary
Under general supervision, with latitude for independent judgment and decision, the Licensing Coordinator - Trailers is responsible for coordination and support of the Executive Team and Director of Licensing. This person will be responsible for coordinating music searches and sales relationships with clients for purposes of recommending music from Warner Chappell Production Music/NonStop Trailers to be used on various projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Acts as coordinator between Director of Licensing – Trailers and the Trailer Music clients.
• Organizes workload to comply with priorities and deadlines, independently works to complete daily functions and tasks for Trailer department.
• Works independently to complete routine departmental or unit functions and/or tasks including, but not limited to, licensing of music in conjunction with Director of Licensing-Trailers, performing music searches as requested by trailer music clients, and compiling playlists of searched music for aforementioned trailer music clients.
• Maintains and updates department files, records and publications.
• Responsible for completing tasks specific within the area, department, or division along with the aforementioned duties and responsibilities in a satisfactory manner as determined by the Director of Licensing-Trailers.
• Requests invoices and licenses from Accounting department.
• Maintains knowledge and familiarity of company’s music library and the broader market of motion picture advertising.
• Handles and safeguards confidential and proprietary information.

Education
A baccalaureate degree with a major in music business is strongly preferred.

Experience
One (1) year of administrative or licensing experience within a music publishing company, or, a satisfactory equivalent of education, training and experience in related fields and/or educational disciplines, sufficient to qualify for the requirements of position.
