High Level Job Description:
The Graphic Designer is responsible for executing design (digital and print) for all collateral marketing materials and assets for Warner Music Nashville.
Detailed Job Description/ Responsibilities:
• Work with VP, Creative Services to assess design needs from initial planning stages to implementing project launch
• Support Digital Design Manager in all design jobs for WMN
• Work with internal departments in the development and modification of album artwork and all support materials both in the print and digital space
• Ensure illustrations, artwork and all layouts meet production requirements throughout the development process
• Develop and maintain relations with outside creative and technical vendors and other third parties
• Work with VP, Creative Services, product managers and online marketing teams to ensure consistent branding across all assets
• Provide basic design/creative support for issues that arise in the Creative Services Department
Required Competencies/Skills:
• Must be literate in technology, especially with Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark and InDesign and Web technologies such as HTML, CSS, Flash, PHP and mySQL
• Must have usability and user interface design skills
• Must possess high aesthetic taste and strong understanding of music industry
Special Requirements/Preferences:
• Minimum 2 years experience in graphic design.
• Entertainment property, music or sports team experience preferred.
Education Required/Preferred:
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Marketing, Marketing Management, Journalism, Communications, General Business or a creative related field.
