The Temporary Email Production Manager, Global Sales & Marketing will be responsible for managing service requests, coordinating communications between WEA's marketing operations team and the label stakeholders, and performing critical production and execution tasks for our direct digital marketing practice.
This role will act as the first point of contact for Roadrunner Records when they access the D2C Marketing & Sales team's services. Additionally, this role will be asked to support other labels (Artist Arena, Atlantic Records, etc) with their email production requests on an as needed basis.
Specific tasks and responsibilities include:
- Interfacing with label stakeholders: fielding requests, managing the flow of information as well as being available for best practices consultations
- Email production and deployment using our ESP: using CMS and HTML to produce email, segment data, test elements.
- Assist with performance and data analysis: pulling metrics and formatting reports for label partners on monthly as well as ad hoc basis; producing case study reports of marketing operations for circulation throughout the company
- Project management: coordinating stakeholders and responsible parties to ensure all steps are taken care of in due process and feedback is given and incorporated as necessary
The Requirements
• Must have email production experience with strong experience with HTML, SQL, CSS, Excel, Dreamweaver and Photoshop
• Resourceful problem-solver who quickly gathers and understands new technologies and concepts
• Working knowledge of and enterprise-level Email Service Provider (ExactTarget a plus)
• General understanding of email, mobile and social best practices, including tools, technology
• Basic knowledge of regulatory requirements as they relate to direct marketing and customer management programs (e.g., privacy regulations, CAN-SPAM Act, data management, etc.)
• Ability to thrive in fast paced environment and be able to easily adapt to change
• Highly motivated and capable of managing and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication (verbal and written) skills a must
• Excellent organizational skills, strong attention for detail
• Deep love of music, pop culture and understanding of the “fan” mentality
• 3 years’ experience in email marketing, project management and/or account management
• Bachelor's Degree from top university preferred
