Department Description:
• Rhino Finance is responsible for the accurate financial reporting, accounting, planning, budgeting, and financial compliance for the company.
High Level Job Description:
• The position will be responsible for a broad range of finance activities relating to the above.
Detailed Job Description/ Responsibilities:
• Responsible for Budget and Forecasting processes, which includes roll up of sales and revenue lines, calculation of variable costs, Overhead, Marketing and A&R costs – including Corporate Reporting, & Management Reporting. Maintaining Excel templates and files and preparing a Financial Package for review.
• Quarterly/Monthly closes including preparation/approval of various monthly/quarterly close entries. Requires working closely with the Financial Shared Services Group and reviewing various analyses provided to ensure activity is properly recorded. Responsible for preparing the Monthly Close Package.
• Review P&D, Joint Venture statements prepared by Financial Shared Services Group.
• Prepare various Management Reporting schedules and comparatives for Label review.
• Responsible for HFM/SAP financial data load into systems, including Sales Reporting and keeping up to date on any system / report enhancements required.
• Review Project P&L statements to analyze revenue and costs to help facilitate business performance decisions.
• Preparation of Recoupment analysis.
• Assist with Deal analysis models and post mortem analysis.
• Supervise/manage team members to ensure timely receipt/review of information to meet various Corporate and Management deadlines.
• Complete/assist in other monthly tasks and projects as needed.

Required Competencies/Skills:
• Proficient in Excel, Word, with preferred experience in SAP and Hyperion.
• Strong decision making, problem solving, organization and analytical skills
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a rapidly changing environment
• Detail oriented and ability to work under pressure/tight deadlines.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills needed in interacting with Corporate and other internal/external parties.
• Detail oriented and ability to work under pressure/tight deadlines.
• Possess strong analytical skills in reviewing accounting transactions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and develop staff
• Knowledge of Oracle and Access database a plus

Education Required/Preferred:
• CPA, preferable but not required, with four or more years public accounting experience or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance, with experience in similar media/entertainment field preferred, combined with experience in the management of staff
