Department Description:
Maximize WMG digital revenue and market share while ensuring operational account efficiencies and executing our digital strategy
High Level Job Description:
Individual will be responsible for the coordination of WMG’s artist and label operational initiatives and activities globally across multiple profile-based digital partners.
Detailed Job Description/ Responsibilities:
• Regular communication with labels and affiliates globally
• Manage linking/association of all profiles across multiple profile-based digital accounts partners
• Manage invitations, permissions, and access for employees across profile-based digital partner content management systems
• Regular monitoring and analysis of profile-based digitial account profiles to ensure all content is monetized properly
• Optimization of metadata (artist, title, etc) as necessary to maximize monetization
• Monitor fingerprint files within profile-based digital content management systems to ensure proper monetization or policing of user-generated content
• Responsible for removal of unauthorized content on profile-based partners utilizing existing tool sets or working with 3rd party partners
• Work closely with profile-based partners and content owners to resolve ownership and claim disputes
• Work with Sales Analysis to generate, maintain, and distribute reports from profile-based partners
Required Competencies/Skills:
• General working knowledge of digital music rights
• Good customer-service type skills
• Must be able to quickly identify issues and find solutions for said issues
• Ability to spot potential problem scenarios and work with team to create new processes
• Must be analytical and process orientated
• Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and work independently from time-to-time
• Effective organizational skills and engaging interpersonal skills
• Strong research and presentation skills
Experience/Knowledge Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Minimum of 1-3 years of digital music account experience, content management systems a plus.
• Broad understanding of digital/mobile video experience, rights, and user activities
