Department Description: The Compensation & Benefits team is responsible for creating Benefit programs to attract, motivate and reward talent across the organization to maintain high standards of productivity and service in the achievement of organizational goals and objectives.
High Level Job Description: The Benefits & HRIS Analyst is a key Comp & Benefits team member who will be the main point of contact/subject matter expert for all benefits administration and HRIS data/reporting inquiries for all US locations. This role should have excellent customer service skills, experience creating and running queries from an ADP EV5 HRIS system, intermediate excel skills, a good general understanding of benefits plan design, (deductibles, coinsurance, etc.), and other benefits administration experience including the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Short and Long Term Disability, and COBRA. This Analyst may also assist with compensation administration and other HR related duties as assigned.
Detailed Job Description/ Responsibilities:
Benefits Administration:
• Knowledge of administration around Medical/Dental/Vision/ Flex Spending Account Plans, 401(k) plan. FMLA, STD/ LTD, OSHA, Workers Compensation.
• Provide excellent customer service to employees on WMG’s health & welfare plans and quickly resolve benefit related issues.
• Provide information for annual 5500 preparation, related audits, annual disclosure reporting requirements, and non-discrimination testing for benefit plans.
• Perform periodic audits of HRIS benefit records to ensure accuracy of employee premium deductions, plan eligibility, participation, calculations/formulas, and data interfaces to vendors.
• Primary liaison with third party leave administration vendor to maintain U.S. leave programs, including: benefits tracking, time entry and leave payouts, and coordinating with managers and the HR team.
• In partnership with the Benefits Director, provide key assistance for annual open enrollment. Coordinates the communication of all benefit programs to staff including on-boarding of new hires, annual enrollment and changes to plans as applicable.
• Process and reconcile monthly benefits invoices for self-insured plans.
• Assist the Benefits Director with the design and implementation of wellness initiative.
• Provide analytical, administrative and implementation support for benefit plan design.
HRIS Analyst:
• Responsible for the integrity and maintenance of all employee data in the HRIS system.
• Enters all employee data into the HRIS system and maintains accuracy of the data.
• Develops and runs reports for audits and analysis.
Required Competencies/Skills:
• At least 3 years of Benefits administration experience.
• At least 3 years of experience working with HRIS systems and proven ability to create and run queries and reports, specifically ADP Enterprise.
• Must have strong working knowledge and experience with ADP-EV5, Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills (vlookups and pivot tables).
• Must have previous experience working within HR, and understanding best practices. Have strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to foster strong working relationships with the HR Coordinators, HR Generalists, Recruitment and Payroll.
• Experience in handling sensitive, confidential information.
• Proven analytical ability with a keen attention to detail
• Demonstrated success in a dynamic, fast-paced, frequently changing, and leanly staffed environment
• The flexibility to work effectively collaboratively and independently.
Special Requirements/Preferences:
• Workday experience a plus.
Education/Experience Required:
• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field, from an accredited college or university.
