We are currently looking for an organized, detail oriented, diligent, and results-driven individual for the full-time position of Assistant Manager in our Sync Licensing Administration department based in Los Angeles. This individual will be responsible for the drafting and issuing of sync licenses for the use of Warner/Chappell Music songs as well as WMG and Rhino master recordings in all media, collection of license fees, as well as heavy client interaction. This is a fun and challenging position in a fast-pace environment.
Detailed Job Description/ Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
• Issue synchronization licenses in all sync areas for the use of Warner/Chappell Music songs as well as WMG and Rhino master recordings
• Analyze, review and resolve revision requests with clients.
• Manage all aspects of contract administration for the foregoing licenses, including tracking outstanding licenses, and tracking the receipt of license fees, royalties and other payments from clients.
• Process license fee payments; maintain and reconcile payment log with monthly reports
• Maintain synchronization licensing database
• Performing such other duties as reasonably may be required.
• Handles and safeguards confidential and proprietary information.
Required Competencies/Skills:
• Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of prior work experience at a record label, music publishing company, media/entertainment company, or licensing agency, with at least one (1) to two (2) years of sync licensing experience.
• Proficiency with sync licensing templates and issues.
• Ability to efficiently and accurately resolve license issues.
• Ability to read, extract and input critical data
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, within a team-oriented environment
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Mathematic and analytic ability to approach day-to-day work
• Self-starter, self-motivated and takes responsibility/ownership of tasks
• Knowledge of general business practices.

Education/Experience Required:
• A high school level education, or its equivalent, is required. A baccalaureate degree with a major in business with coursework to have included principles of music business, copyright law and/or related fields is preferred.
• A satisfactory equivalent of education, training and experience in related fields and/or educational disciplines, sufficient to qualify for the requirements of position.
