High Level Job Description:
Legal Assistant - responsible for providing strong administrative support to seven lawyers along with general assistance to Business & Legal Affairs department.
Detailed Job Description/ Responsibilities:
• Drafts correspondence.
• Prepares, sends and tracks contract execution copies.
• Monitors status of various deals and agreements.
• Prepares, processes and mails payments and advances.
• Undertakes internet research.
• Answers telephones, screens, logs and places calls.
• Schedules meetings and conference calls.
• Prepares and submits expense reports.
• Makes photocopies of faxes and other materials.
• Opens, records and distributes mail.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
• General office work (e.g., , word processing)
Required Competencies/Skills:
• Able to multi-task and manage multiple assignments
• Must be able to work well under pressure and complete tasks quickly
• Must be able to prioritize
• Extremely organized
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Exceptional communication and phone skills
• Takes initiative
• Goal-orientated
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)

• Prior assistant work
• Legal experience

• Knowledge of the music industry
