Position Overview:
The Talent Acquisition Assistant is responsible for supporting the Talent Acquisition team of Recruiters, hiring managers and candidates. Responsibilities include: interview scheduling, offer letter generation, building positive relationships with clients and candidates and special projects as assigned.
Job Responsibilities:
• Provide general administrative support to Sr Director and Talent Acquisition team. Includes support with daily tasks and projects, as well as administrative support: Calendar Management, Expenses, Travel and maintenance of department files.
• Coordination of interview scheduling and day to day communications with candidates and hiring managers to ensure a seamless candidate/client service experience.
• Update and maintain candidate and requisition data in Taleo (ATS) throughout the recruitment process
• Initiate and monitor background checks , investigate, resolve and/or escalate issues to appropriate party
• Draft offer and transfer letters
• Manage and track pipeline candidates
• Assist in development of strategic recruitment plans including identifying posting outlets and drafting communications
• Research, plan logistics and attend career fairs & networking events
• Continually document and expand network of websites, user groups, blogs and other resources where talent can be identified to support competitor mapping.
• Conduct exploratory phone interviews
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with application process including confirming completion, verifying source of hire details, orientation and onboarding communication coordination etc.
• Serve as initial point of contact to candidates regarding inquiries: ATS (Taleo), recruitment process, third party vendors etc.
• Recruit for Talent Acquisition intern.
Skills Required:
• Disciplined self-starter with can-do attitude; proactive, resourceful, collaborative team player; detail-oriented and strong follow-through skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• A Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with all levels of management
• Strong working knowledge of Web search engines, Microsoft Office Suite ( Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as applicant tracking systems (Taleo preferred)
Experience Required:
• Bachelors Degree
• 1 years of Recruiting, HR or related experience in meeting fast paced client needs
