Report to: Director, Domestic Tax Compliance
Detailed Job Description/Responsibilities:
•
Responsible for the preparation of US Federal and State & Local tax returns including consolidated and separate tax returns
•
Assist Director Domestic Tax Compliance in answering tax audit information requests and state and Federal Tax notices
•
Assist in development and implementation of US Federal and State and Local tax planning strategies consistent with the operational profile and strategic initiatives of WMG
•
Research of Federal and State and local tax issues
•
Responsible for conducting tax research and analysis regarding the US state and local sales and use taxes
•
Assist in year-end ASC 740 to ensure that WMG income tax provision is timely and accurately reported
•
Assist in performing due diligence for acquisitions, tax audits and other projects
•
Manage and prepare in conjunction with Vice President of International Taxes, tax research, analysis and tax calculation required for the preparation of Form 1118.
•
Manage and prepare in conjunction with VP of International Tax the completion and filing of selected international tax and treasury reporting forms
Educational/Professional Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; CPA or MST preferred
• 4-6 years tax experience at US based multinational/ major US accounting Firm
• Strong computer skills
• Knowledge of OneSource or GoSystems
