WMG - Warner Music Group Department Description: This department supports the information (SAP and related) systems and interfaces which support the Financial Business Management functions of Warner Music Group. In addition, the department also supports the Quality and Testing COE for WMG Information Technology. Key business processes include Financial Accounting and Reporting, Royalty Management and Accounting, Procure to Pay and Order to Cash. SAP is the core technology deployed utilizing ECC 6.0, Ariba, PI middleware, and BW. The technology platform is tightly integrated to numerous critical systems for Sales, Contracts, Master Data and various other Legacy Systems.
High Level Job Description: This Sr. Procure to Pay Analyst (Ariba Customer Admin) role will be responsible for the technology enablement and operational support for the Procure-to-Pay function, specifically owning the integrated Ariba SIPM/P2P/SAP solution that manages vendor requests through purchase order and invoice transaction processing. This role will also serve as the application owner for the Concur Travel & Expense solution, and the SAP integrated processes for expense reimbursement. The incumbent will be responsible for the maintenance of all related approval matrices, all business facing communications, and customer service that comes along with the management of ServiceNow incidents/requests. A key aspect of this position is to increase customer service levels, while identifying continuous improvement/remediation opportunities. This includes both technical and business process improvements to create efficiencies across Procure to Pay end-to-end processes.
Key Activities include but not limited to:
• As WMG’s Sr. Ariba Analyst, he/she will participate in the full development lifecycle of deliverables in support of the Procure to Pay processes (Supplier Information Management, Contracts Mgmt, Purchasing, Travel & Expense, Accounts Payable).
• Establish and maintain the overall portfolio of day-to-day enhancement/break-fix remediation change requests with the Procure to Pay team leader
• Advocate process design improvements in respective process community.Provides knowledge and expertise on current processes and procedures, includes business consulting and answering user "how to" questions.
• Responsible for learning and maintaining the Ariba configuration settings and customizations which are the basis for the Procure to Pay design.
• The Sr. Analyst, as part of the full development/break-fix lifecycle, and under the direction of the Procure to Pay team leader, will
• Establish the overall project plan and maintain project control
• Own all project related documentation
• Lead the overall requirements gathering and sign off
• Manage and drive the overall Ariba cloud/SAP ECC Hybrid solution design
• Manage the integrations between Ariba cloud solutions and SAP-ECC, with support from SAP functional and ABAP/PI teams
• Plan and coordinate appropriate testing and data planning requirements
• Plan and coordinate appropriate deployment and release activities
• Work closely with the business partner and transformation team to ensure appropriate
• Responsible for ensuring support service levels meet the needs of the business
• Establish overall reporting service level agreements
• Monitor and report service performance
• Ensure all technical jobs complete on time and with quality
• Take corrective and preventive measures to maintain and improve service levels
• Evaluate aggregate of incident tickets raised to determine overall business impact – propose and manage shorter-term remediation plans and longer-term end to end process solutions
Required
Competencies/Skills:
• Minimum 5 years of procurement systems experience (Ariba P2P, SIPM and Contracts Mgmt, SAP-MM purchasing & invoice verification)
•
5 years experience in business customer-facing IT or other non-IT role related to the Finance function. Or, previous experience in business process re-engineering or process improvement, involving broad-based information systems, utilizing tools and techniques to effect business change.
•
3 years IT Financial application customer service/operations experience
• Firm understanding of Ariba P2P cloud solution and data flows/architecture, including SAP ERP integration
• Experience with both business process and systems training documentation
• Strong knowledge of multi system landscape architecture and integration aspects between heterogeneous system technologies and SAP ECC, Ariba, BW
• Strong ability to interact with all levels of the organization (from junior staff to senior executives).
• Possesses strong collaboration, communication and influencing skills. Work effectively with a distributed multi-culture international team, across time-zones with minimal supervision.
• Ability to operate within complex programs that incorporate several elements – inter-dependencies within multiple work streams, inter-dependencies external to the project, significant business user involvement, international scope, etc.
• Experience working as part of a team environment - overseeing 3rd party contractors and offshore development resources.
• Ability to achieve results through influence over external and internal staff who are direct reports as well as those who are not.
• Strong knowledge and experience with Windows applications including Microsoft Excel, Project, Word, PowerPoint and Visio.
• Travel to other WMG locations, as necessary (domestic and international).
Special Requirements/Preferences:
Music/Publishing industry experience a plus.
Education Required: Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Management Science or Computer Information Systems or 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination and experience.
