Department Description:
Represent and implement label interests on all aspects of tour related business, promotional tours, artist scheduling, ticket buys, tour marketing, special events/showcases, and respective budgets. Liaise with managers, agents and promoters to maximize opportunities in the marketplace for entire Atlantic Pop/Rock roster with an ultimate view towards artist growth.

Responsible for the implementation and execution of artist development and tour marketing strategy, as well as the artist scheduling for assigned pop / rock label roster. Help to create tour opportunities for assigned respective roster, and represent label interests on all tour/promo related business. Manage quarterly budgeting, accountings, and payment on tours, promotion, events, ticket buys and tour marketing.
Detailed Job Description/ Responsibilities:
• Work with the SVP of Artist Development to develop and execute Artist Development and Tour Marketing strategy as assigned for selected roster.
• Establish target demographics for each artist on assigned roster & work with department head to try and secure touring opportunities for baby bands. .
• Coordinate with managers and respective label departments to create promotional guidelines for assigned roster
• Oversee all daily touring and promotional activity, including the management of artist schedules, for assigned roster
• Monitoring of ticket counts for assigned artists
• Coordinate outreach of tour announcements and on-sales with all appropriate parties
• Help field locations for showcases, and manage all logistics from guest list solicitation, to all coordination with venue production and artist production.
• Coordinate radio presents in each market with agent and promoter, along with the routing of radio plans, promoter plans and all interdepartmental communication on the results
• Collaborate with artist/business/tour management to develop & see budgets through to final accountings for promotional tours, traditional tours and one off events.
• Develop and maintain key relationships with Artist Managers, Tour Managers, Booking Agents, Promoters, Business managers, Venue Managers, Talent Buyers, Lifestyle Outlets, and Tour Publicists
• Create target
• Responsible for coordinating all departmental/ label ticketing and credential needs with live events for assigned roster
• Work with SVP of Artist Development to assess each artists’ live show presentation, then provide necessary suggestions & resources (if needed) to make proper enhancements.
Required Competencies/Skills:
• Comprehensive understanding of the touring business specifically, and the music industry as a whole
• Strong relationship and network building skills
• Passionate about music, and true knowledge of bands in various genres.
• Enthusiastic & willingness to contribute and share in a team environment
• Solid problem solving skills
• Demonstrated budget and audit competency
• Proficient at multi-tasking
• Highly communicative and organized
• Comprehensive understanding of event planning fundamentals
Special Requirements/Preferences:
• 4 years’ experience in music industry - preferably in progressive roles in at an artist management company, booking agency, promoter, or record label handling digital marketing
• Budget management and resolution
• Solid relationships with agents, and promoters
Education Required:
• BA or BS degree (or equivalent)
• Proficient in excel, word
